World of Warcraft players have been reporting that the popular PvP Brawl mode, ‘Comp Stomp,’ has been unavailable, despite being promised on the schedule calendar. The developers are aware of this issue and are actively working on a fix.
‘Comp Stomp’ not available in World of Warcraft
‘Comp Stomp’ is a PvP Brawl in World of Warcraft where a team of 15 Alliance or Horde players competes in the Arathi Basin Battleground against a team of 15 NPCs.
It was originally introduced as part of the World of Warcraft 10-Year Anniversary event, offering a nostalgic PvP experience reminiscent of the early days of WoW.
This unique Brawl allows players to engage in player vs. AI battles, providing a refreshing twist on the standard PvP match-up. It is available for a limited time and offers rewards for participation.
However, despite Blizzard officially announcing that ‘Comp Stomp’ would be available this week, numerous players have reported that they are unable to find the mode in the menus.
Instead, the ‘Battleground Blitz’ mode is being displayed on the calendar. There has been no official statement explaining the cause of this issue.
Official acknowledgement
The official support team has acknowledged the reports and is actively addressing the problem. In response to a player’s complaint, a social media representative confirmed that the issue had been relayed to the support team.
As of now, there is no official release date or estimated time of arrival (ETA) for the fix. However, it is expected that a new patch or hotfix will be released soon to resolve the issue and make ‘Comp Stomp’ available to players once again.
