Original story (published on June 21, 2022) follows:

Owned by Google, Waze is a satellite navigation software that primarily works on smartphones and other PCs with GPS.

Waze is completely free to use and has support for turn-by-turn navigation. As of 2020, it had more than 140 million monthly active users.

That said, Waze users are now reporting that the app is down or not working in multiple regions. Many are getting a ‘No network connection. Try again later’ error message when trying to connect to the servers.

Common solutions such as force-stopping, switching to Wi-Fi, clearing data and cache, and reinstalling the app aren’t helping either.

Apart from the UK, the problem seems to be affecting those in France, and Belgium, but it is still unclear how many regions are experiencing the issue at the moment.

Thankfully, Waze developers were quick to comment on the matter and said they are aware of connectivity issues. However, they did not share any ETA for when the service will be up and running again.

Hi. Yes, we’re aware of connectivity issues this morning, and have alerted @Waze HQ
