While the beloved pop icon has a knack for enchanting audiences, snagging tickets to her tours has become a challenging feat. And the overwhelming demand of presales often crashing Ticketmaster bears testimony to this fact.

Fans are now turning to the Ticketmaster Verified Fan program as a beacon of hope. So if you want to experience Taylor Swift’s magic on ‘The Eras Tour’, here’s a guide on how to navigate the program.

Taylor Swift presale tickets through Ticketmaster ‘Verified Fan’ program

Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program was designed to curb scalping and give genuine fans the opportunity to buy tickets. But sadly, we have already witnessed this poor practice of scalping before.

In any case, you must create a Ticketmaster account to register for the ticket sale. Following registration, Ticketmaster chooses which customers will get access for buying tickets using a lottery-style system.

It’s worth noting that the registration for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fans only opens for a brief period of time. In Taylor Swift’s case, it’s open till Saturday, August 5.

Verified Fan requires registration to help filter out buyers looking to resell tickets and instead get them to fans who are going to attend the show. Register today. It’s quick, easy and free to sign up.
Registration is open now and closes on Saturday, August 5 at 5 pm ET.

After this, Ticketmaster reviews the registrations and selects lucky fans to receive access codes. These codes serve as your golden ticket to the presale.

A detailed guide on how to go about registration

As previously stated, Verified Fan program requires you to register with your Ticketmaster account, but it still does not guarantee tickets. Usually, first-come, first-served policy applies to the distribution of tickets.

How it works:

First, you need to register your email, choose a preferred show, sign in or create a new account. Later, specify how to reach you. It’ll be followed by a confirmation email that Ticketmaster has received your information.

The second step includes verification of your account. After successful authentication, the third step will provide you the chance to get a special access code.

Stage 2: Verification. Ticketmaster authenticates your account. Once authenticated, you will have the opportunity to receive a unique access code in Stage 3.

In the third and the last step, you’ll get an email (a day before the sale) informing you if you were chosen for the onsale for a specific day or added to the waitlist.

You’ll get an access code, in case you’re selected. If not, you’ll join the waitlist and may receive an invite to join the onsale at a later date.
