Vivo is a brand that is known for bringing innovative products to the market. It was probably the first company to make use of the under-display fingerprint scanner in the Vivo Nex smartphone.

And now, the company seems to be working on another technology. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has recently filed a new patent on European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The trademark application is for the new Super FlashCharge technology.

This might be similar to what we have with OnePlus (WARP Charge), Realme (VOOC Charge), etc. Although this trademark application filed by Vivo does not spill many details, it is expected to be the previously rumored 55W fast charger technology.

The company is yet to announce anything related to this new technology that has been trademarked. However, it is expected that the upcoming Vivo smartphones, at least the flagships, to use this new Super FlashCharge technology.

It is something that Vivo has done in the past, as last year the company showcased the 120W Super FastCharge technology that can charge a 4,000 mAh battery from 0 to 100 in about 13 minutes.

Moreover, it is great to see that smartphone OEMs are taking the charging game to the next level. The highest charging technology that we have seen so far is the 65W charging on the OPPO Reno Ace.

And with this new Super FlashCharge Vivo wants to make its own place in this super-fast charging technology space along with other Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi and OPPO.

We will keep you in the loop until we have more information in this regard. In the meantime, you can check out our dedicated Vivo smartphone section to read such similar stories.
