If you’re a passionate gamer, especially a fan of Dota 2, CS:GO, or Team Fortress 2, you might have heard of the Valve Store. It’s an online shop that sells all sorts of merchandise related to these games.

For years, the Valve Store has been a go-to destination for players seeking high-quality, officially licensed merchandise.

You can find t-shirts, hoodies, posters, plushies, and other cool things with characters and designs from these games. The Valve Store has been a special place for fans to get awesome stuff and show love for their favorite games.

Valve Store closing on July 31

But here’s some sad news for those who like shopping from Valve Store. Valve is sending emails to their customers stating that the store will be permanently closing with effect from July 31.

This marks the end of an era for gamers who have enjoyed shopping there and getting cool merchandise from their favorite games. Here are some reports for reference:

PSA: The current iteration of The’ Valve Store’ will cease operations at the end of the month. As this may be the last chance to purchase some items, make sure to check it out before August 1st, 2023! (Source)

Just got this Valve store closing notice in my email from For Fans By Fans. Someone posted about TI11 merch clearance some days ago. But it looks like it’s no more Valve merch full stop? Is Valve partnering with another vendor? Is Valve going to sell merch direct? Will we ever know? (Source)

Unfortunately, Valve hasn’t yet disclosed the reason behind closure of their store. And while it’s disappointing that the Valve shop is closing soon, gamers still have time until July 31 to shop for their favorite merchandise.

That said, you can grab your favorite items from the Valve Store while stock lasts.
