Some Ulta Beauty users have lately been encountering an issue where the checkout process is not working properly.

Ulta Beauty’s 21 Days of Beauty sale has recently begun, and it offers significant discounts on a variety of cosmetic products, including those from Beautyblender, MAC, and Lancôme.

It’s noteworthy that the sale will be live until September 16 and will provide new deals and surprise steals daily.

Ulta Beauty checkout process not working for some

However, some customers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) are unhappy as they are unable to take advantage of the limited-time offers.

They allege to be experiencing problems during the checkout process on both Ulta Beauty’s website and mobile app.

Users argue that when they attempt to checkout after placing all the items in the cart, they get an error and their transaction is not processed.

The problem is particularly concerning for some because today’s the last day to earn five times the usual reward points on a purchase.

People are doubtful that the issue will get resolved anytime soon, as similar issues popped up during last year’s sale as well. Due to this, they are now requesting the company to extend the limited sale events.

Users are also disgruntled as they keep receiving marketing emails from the company even when they cannot place an order.

@ultabeauty what is going on with the app or the website itself? I can’t checkout properly it always exits me out the app or it won’t even load to the secure checkout part and it takes off my birthday month coupon code and it would literally tell me that the coupon was already.

A few have noted instances where they were abruptly exited from the app while trying to buy something. They also contend that the secure checkout section sometimes fails to load properly.

And to make matters worse, customers are unable to redeem a previously applied coupon code or get their previously earned reward points back.

@ultabeauty so, you like not making money and losing infinite customers? Your attempts to “make things right” by listing all previous 21 days products on sale again is a great idea. It’s too bad nobody can actually buy those items. I’ve been loyal for years. No longer.

A user claims to be facing difficulties even while choosing the store locator. They also assert that they cannot redeem rewards even when their cart’s subtotal matches the scheme’s criteria.

Nonetheless, troubles don’t end here.

Orders not showing in history

Some customers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) who are lucky enough to complete the checkout process are in a dilemma as well.

They claim that they have been charged for the orders they placed. However, their purchases do not show up in the order history section of their accounts.

In addition, those who sought assistance from customer support were informed that their orders had not actually been placed. They were also assured that any money deducted would be returned within 3-5 business days.

@ultabeauty need some help ASAP but customer service is not answering, chat says it’s too busy. Placed an order through the app, it said there was an error “(M3)”, deducted my points and $396.81 but there is NO order history, no confirmation,& store didn’t receive it.

An impacted user even says that the website fails to display details of both orders they have placed this week.

@ultabeauty what’s going on with the app? I placed a pickup order, points were deducted, and my card charged, yet there is no record of any orders in my order history in the app at all
