New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on March 2, 2023) follows:

Ubisoft Connect is a proprietary video game distribution system developed by Ubisoft. It acts as a user’s library of various games and downloadable content.

Apart from that, it also enables users to start games, install updates, connect with friends, and download previously-purchased material.

Ubisoft Connect not loading Store, Games & News tab

However, it seems that several players who use Ubisoft Connect to manage their games are facing connectivity issues as it is currently unable to load the store, games, and News tabs (1,2,3,4,5,6).

“ubisoft service currently unavailable”. Can’t even open the damn launcher legit tried everything on the internet to try and fix this but nothing works. Does the launcher randomly works/not work from time to time?

Instead of opening the selected tab, the news tab displays a warning saying ‘Looks like we can’t fetch the news right now’. The store tab, on the other hand, displays a ‘Ubisoft store is currently unavailable’ error.

Those affected have tried reinstalling the app and restarting their PC but to no avail. Even a clean installation and reinstallation of windows don’t seem to work.

Official acknowledgment

Fortunately, the developers are looking into the problem where Ubisoft Connect is not loading Store and Games. They did not, however, provide a time frame for the fix.
