The Weather Channel is a weather forecast, news and alerts service that is available for users worldwide. However, it appears that the service is currently experiencing some issues with its streaming application.

Many users have been reporting that The Weather Channel streaming app is currently down or not working for them.

Your app has crashed. Referring people to the help page won’t do anything. You need to provide a status in when it will be fixed.

if you are gonna charge people to subscribe to your channel – you might want to make sure your app servers can handle the traffic during a major storm when folks need it most.

It appears that the app servers are unable to cope with the sudden influx in traffic due to the current weather conditions along the Florida gulf coast.

Affected users have taken to social media platforms like Twitter to express their frustration with the streaming app during a time of need.

@weatherchannel your app is useless on Firestick. Won’t even launch. Y’all need to work on your tech.

Unfortunately, The Weather Channel team has not acknowledged the issue with their streaming application.

We hope they are able to find the root cause behind this outage and fix it at the earliest.
