Original story (published on August 21, 2023) follows:

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre players are reporting an issue with lobby invite codes where they are exceeding 6 characters.

A lobby invite code is a special combination of letters that is used to invite others to join a specific game session in a video game. Players share these codes to play together in the same match.

However, some players are reporting that they are getting a 7-character code for lobby invite. However, the field where they’ve to enter the code only has room for a 6-character code.

As a result, gamers are unable to input the code correctly and enter the lobby. Frustrated by this, many gamers have taken to Twitter, now X, to raise their concern.
