The Texas Chain Saw Massacre players have been lately reporting an exploit where family members (killers) can ‘bodyblock’ the map exits.
Such a maneuver can, without a doubt, have a significant impact on one’s gameplay experience. And this is because killers can potentially trap other players and prevent them from advancing or fleeing.

By looking at the reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), it seems that players are employing this tactic with varying intentions.
Some are using it as a strategic move to increase their chances of winning by restricting their opponents’ movements and escape routes. While there are others who are exploiting the flaw merely for disruptive and trolling purposes.
As per the claims, such individuals obstruct exits indefinitely, causing frustration and annoyance among the other participants. Gamers assert that even though the game is fun to play in the beginning, it slowly loses appeal.
This is because the killers recurrently adapt a camping strategy where they just obstruct the exits and do not actively pursue anyone. And this repetitive behavior makes the game less exciting and monotonous.
Some have even questioned the rationale behind introducing such game mechanics, believing that they make the gameplay unbalanced or unfair.
A Redditor says that the developers should add a crawlspace to the backyard of the family house. They believe that victims are bound to lose as the cook can block the majority of the doors.
I was unfortunate enough to find this out the hard way that leatherface can stand in front of the fusebox exit and completely block a victim from getting past and escaping. Is this intentional?

In addition to this, one cannot survive if they jump out of the window.
Another claims that if a victim activates the fuse for the basement exit and does not reach there before a family member, they will surely die.
The fact leatherface (maybe every other killer) can body block the exit even after being stabbed with a bone shard is hilariously bad.

Interestingly, a few (1,2,3) find the game’s mechanics fair. They contend that there are a total of four exits in the game. And even if each family member blocks the exits separately, they will be left with an exit to escape.
How to counter a ‘bodyblock’
Luckily, you can counter such situations by utilizing Leland’s shoulder charge or a bone to stab the blocker.
