The Masters Tournament app crashing on Apple TV for some users; audio issues reported too

The Masters Tournament app for Apple TV recently got an update that introduced support for the 2023 Masters Tournament. The golf tournament began yesterday evening and will conclude on April 9, 2023.

However, some are unhappy as they are facing issues while using the app.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple Masters Tournament app users claim to be experiencing difficulties when live streaming the golf tournament on Apple TV as it crashes time and again.

For some, the crashes happen at random intervals and for others at the startup itself. Allegedly, some are even unable to relaunch the app after the crash.

Due to this, users are unable to enjoy watching their favorite game’s broadcast without any occasional hiccups, leaving many disappointed.

One of those affected claims that app crashes occur if one is viewing the stream via featured groups or live multicast. They also mention that they are unable to connect the app on their iPhones with AirPlay.

Nevertheless, issues with The Masters Tournament app don’t end here.

Some users (1,2,3), are also facing issues with the audio stream on Apple TV. It has been alleged that multiple audio streams interfere with each other when the multi-cast feature is used.

However, as per the reports (1,2,3,4,5,6), it appears that audio mixing is poor on any platform that is streaming the tournament.

One of the users says that audio quality of the stream is so bad that they can barely hear the commentary.

Having said that, we do hope that Augusta National fixes the crashing and audio stream related issues on The Masters Tournament app as soon as possible.
