Pixel Watch fans are feeling a bit like kids in a candy store who keep eyeing the treat but never get to taste it. Google has again dangled the unreleased Pixel Watch “Performance Loop” band in front of us.

The teaser appeared on a recent Pixel Watch community post first spotted by Droid Life where Google invited fans to share their favorite band and watch face combinations. But the real attention-grabber was the featured image: among the band options, keen-eyed fans spotted two colors of the yet-to-be-released Performance Loop band. This is the same band that made a brief debut on launch day of the Pixel Watch 3, only to mysteriously vanish from online listings soon after.

So, what’s the big deal about this elusive strap? For one, it combines style and functionality, making it a perfect pick for everyday wear and workouts. With its velcro-style closure and material mix of polyester, nylon, and elastane, the band promises a snug, customizable fit without a buckle. Plus, it’s sleek – blending metal connectors with a knit design, it has a modern, sporty look that could be paired with both gym and casual outfits.

We’ve already seen retail listings hinting at the band’s existence – the recent being a listing from Best Buy Canada and Amazon, which showed off the band’s different color options, including the eye-catching “Light” and “Mojito.” Google’s community post only adds to the excitement by giving us another, better view of these colors attached to the watch, not just laid out alone.

While Google hasn’t officially announced a release date, this repeated slip-up feels like a wink that it’s coming soon. With the holiday season around the corner, here’s hoping that Google will finally put the band up for sale, potentially around the rumored $60 price. Until then, we’ll be waiting.
