The Elder Scrolls Online developers have come under criticism for the ban handling of players exploiting the Endeavors system.

As per the allegations, the daily Endeavors have lately been resetting more often, allowing several gamers to earn more rewards than intended.

The Elder Scrolls Online ban handling (Endeavors resetting) criticized

The Endeavors system allows players to complete daily and weekly tasks and earn various rewards, including a currency known as Seals of Endeavor.

These tasks encompass a range of in-game activities such as monster hunting, PvP engagements, and numerous other tasks.

However, some gamers are exploiting the glitch, and repeatedly farming rewards after completing the newly reset Endeavors.

To counter this, the developers have been banning such players at a rapid rate.

But sadly, some unlucky players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) who have unknowingly taken advantage of this situation are experiencing hiccups as well.

Some assert that they are facing bans if they leave the game paused for a brief period of time. While others claim to be experiencing a similar problem whenever they try signing back in to the game after a crash.

I was hoping to jump into ESO again, but it seems that people are getting banned left and right on ps. I’ve yet to see any confirmation of the glitch happening on pc, but I’m worried that might also be the case.

Notably, this issue mostly affects PlayStation owners on European servers. Due to this, some are even scared of trying to log into the game. And this is because they are afraid of being blacklisted.

Understandably, people are dissatisfied with the way ZeniMax Online Studios has handled the glitch. They believe that they should not randomly ban players who have no idea about the glitch.

Instead they should be given a warning beforehand.

In addition to apologies, some of those impacted are also requesting compensation for being wrongfully blacklisted.

Fortunately, the developers are aware of the issue where Endeavors are resetting more often and are currently working on fixing it.

We are hopeful that ZeniMax Online Studios will listen to the players’ plea and compensate those who have been wrongfully banned.
