The Division 2 countdown glitch under investigation, confirms Ubisoft

Developed by Massive Entertainment, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is one of the well-known names in the action role-playing genre.

Recently, the developers partnered up with Resident Evil to introduce a total of 21 apparel items to the game.

In addition to this, all those who logged in through the Resident Evil event were given Leon Kennedy’s RPD 3-piece Outfit.

However, things are far from rosy.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple The Division 2 players are experiencing difficulties playing the game in Countdown mode. It has been alleged that the mode doesn’t load properly and keeps glitching most of the time.

Also, those who are fortunate enough to start a match claim that there are no opponents to compete with. This has made them speculate that gamers are getting kicked out of the match, time and again.

Players are also experiencing massive lags and crashes while playing the Countdown mode as well.

One of those affected alleges that they get a double loading screen whenever they try to start a countdown match. They also mention that the encounters remain locked, and one needs to restart the match frequently.

The issue has been persistent for the past few days and affects players across multiple platforms.

Gamers have even contacted customer care and submitted a support ticket in this regard, but were unable to get the problem resolved.

They are now requesting the developers to fix this bug so that they can enjoy playing the countdown mode as intended.

Fortunately, the Ubisoft support team on Twitter has officially acknowledged this issue and is currently investigating it. However, no official ETA for the bug fix has been provided.

The team has also asked the players to provide additional details regarding the issue as well.

We do hope that Massive Entertainment will fix the countdown glitch in The Division 2 shortly.
