Ubisoft created quite a buzz when they announced that early access to ‘The Crew Motorfest’ would commence on September 11.

However, the much-anticipated early release has turned into a source of frustration for several Ubisoft Plus subscribers.

Reports have been flooding in, with players expressing their disappointment that the early access is not available to them.

These players had pre-ordered the game, in some cases shelling out extra money, with the expectation that they would be among the first to experience ‘The Crew Motorfest’.

For some, this issue has rendered their pre-order redundant. The excitement they had built up, and the extra cost they incurred, now seem to have been in vain.

Understandably, this has left these loyal Ubisoft Plus users feeling frustrated and let down.

Issue acknowledged

Thankfully, Ubisoft has taken notice of the issue and has acknowledged it. They have issued a statement to reassure affected players that they are aware of the problem.

While this acknowledgment is a step in the right direction, there is still no clear ETA for the fix yet.

Let’s hope that Ubisoft can swiftly address this problem and allow fans to finally enjoy the thrilling world of ‘The Crew Motorfest’ they have been eagerly anticipating.

Update 1 (Sep. 12, 2023)

05:27 pm (IST): The Ubisoft team has already resolved the issue that prevented players from downloading. For those who may still be having problems, they recommend a couple of workarounds:

1. Clear PC client cache in Windows installation folder

2. After seeing the activation key popin inside the legacy client, switch to ‘Game’ tab and launch the game from there.
