Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why the Indonesian mobile internet provider Telkomsel is down or not working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately.

A quick look at micro-blogging site Twitter conveys there are many others affected by the same issue. Users reportedly are experiencing internet issues and are unable to access services like WhatsApp, Instagram, and others as of writing this.

For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants (translated) word the problem:

Sorry, so it’s not comfortable. Right now, you are experiencing slow internet access due to an increase in our service system. It is expected to be completed as soon as possible.

No new development has come to sight as yet. Here’s Telkom’s latest statement on the matter.

Sorry, there is currently a disruption in internet access in all areas due to the increase in our service system. It is expected to be completed as soon as possible.
