According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple users are facing an issue where random games keep installing on their mobile after every T-Mobile software update.
For some, this happens if one has ever let the carrier’s AppSelector install the recommended apps during their phone’s initial setup. It has been alleged that the app selector keeps on reinstalling games after one uninstalls them.
And to add to their troubles, users are unable to find an option to revoke the permission.
On the other hand, the games install automatically for a section of users who have never accepted any recommendations or given the permission to do so.
They claim to have found out about the same after getting a ‘Here’s a new game, hope you enjoy’ notification on their phone.

Customers have tried tinkering with the phone’s settings and uninstalling the games time and again but to no avail.
Potential workarounds
Fortunately, we did come across some potential workarounds that may help you get rid of this issue.
It has been recommended that you uninstall T-Mobile’s AppSelector app from your smartphone. Along with this, you should uninstall all updates for T-Mobile Play and disable it as well.
Alternatively, you can make use of the ADB Tool to uninstall the apps from your mobile. However, you will need to enable USB debugging in order to do so.
Also, you can avoid buying phones from carriers like T-Mobile and purchase them directly from manufacturers.
