New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on August 8, 2022) follows:

In recent years, the live-streaming segment has experienced a remarkable ‘boom’, probably driven by the need to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are multiple tools specially focused on offering all the necessary features to achieve the best streaming experience. Among those tools is Streamlabs, which is up against other big names like OBS.

Compared to OBS, Streamlabs offers some additional features that expand the possibilities. But this also implies that Streamlabs is more demanding when it comes to system resources.

Something to note is that Streamlabs is one of the streaming tools that uses OBS source code as a base, since the latter is open source software.

However, it appears that currently many users are unable to login to their Streamlabs accounts due to a server crash.

Streamlabs currently down or not working

According to multiple reports, Streamlabs servers are currently down or not working. Streamers only receive a blank page with an ‘Something went terribly wrong’ error message when trying to access the website.

The issue is preventing users from starting any stream as the Streamlabs backend is down.
