Star Wars Jedi Survivor stuck at 'Unpacking' or crashing (not starting) after pre-downloading? You're not alone

In addition to these issues, some players who were not affected by the previous problems have discovered a ‘day 1 patch’ that weighs 6Gb but downloads extremely slowly at around 1Mbps.

Playing on steam and I had preloaded it a couple days ago. Now I’m downloading 6GB of whatever at 1MB/s. Can anyone clarify my speed issue?
