The company has been expanding its service set and music catalog ever since its inception and has added podcasts and more to its platform.

It was also able to successfully expand its user base rapidly within the last few years.

Spotify Wrapped summarizes and provides a visual representation of the music, genres, and podcasts they had listened to the most.

These year-in-review or wrapped cards can be shared on a majority of social media platforms and give one the chance to flaunt their musical taste.

Every year, Spotify users look forward to this wrapped, or year-in-review, which generally arrives in late November or early December.

Ever since its launch in 2016, the concept has become very popular and pushed several services to do the same.

But some users don’t seem to have crystal clear clarity about the concept. So, we are summarizing the most useful information, which will help you easily understand the same.

Spotify Wrapped results and playlists are available by the month of November or December every year and can be accessed from the app’s home screen.

It must be noted that wrapped or the year-in-review covers the music and podcasts streamed from January 1st to a few weeks before November 30.

Although the section generally disappears at the start of January, one can still access it throughout the year.

If one is smart enough and saves the music to their library by clicking or tapping on the “heart” or “like” icon, the tracks or playlists will stay safe in the Playlists section.

The most basic requirement regarding this is that you need to be a registered user.

Users with either a free or premium subscription are eligible, but they must meet a prerequisite — they must have streamed at least 30 tracks for more than 30 seconds each from 5 different artists.

It must also be noted that the feature is limited to certain regions, and some subscribers may only have limited features of the same due to varying criteria

Along with this, one needs to make sure they have installed the most recent app update before embarking on the journey to find their ‘personalized wrap’ or ‘year-in-review’.

You’ll be relieved to learn that a song playlist or top songs list can be shared via a link. The receiving user will be directed to the other user’s personalized top songs list (if they are eligible) or Wrapped hub (if they are not).

Alternatively, one can also share a copy of the playlist.

Another point to note is that ‘Wrapped’ will include the songs from an artist even if you mark them under “Don’t play this artist”.

One needs to opt for Product News under the notification settings, and that too before the first of December, in order to get emails delivered on their email id.

Spotify Lite app users need to upgrade to the full version of the app in order to have access to the Wrapped 2023 section.

Unfortunately, one cannot access the Wrapped stories in offline mode. But one can download the ‘Wrapped’ songs or playlists and enjoy listening to their favorite tracks offline.

For the user’s information, it includes the total minutes in music as well as podcasts.

Also, it is worth noting the criteria for getting podcasts in Wrapped.

If one has listened to at least 3 podcast shows with a minimum of 3 or more unique episodes streamed on 3 or more distinct days, then a user is eligible for at least 1 podcast story to be included in the Wrapped.
