Spider-Man fans like me and gamers around the world rejoiced when Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released exclusively for the PlayStation 5. The critically acclaimed franchise, known for its thrilling web-swinging action, compelling storytelling, and iconic villains, returned with an exciting new adventure.

In this installment, you have a chance to swing, jump, and utilize new abilities, such as the Web Wings, while navigating the sprawling urban landscape of Marvel’s New York. The game allows players to seamlessly switch between the beloved characters of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, each with their unique stories and powers. The storyline revolves around Spider-Man and Venom, an iconic villain. He threatens to destroy not only the city but also the lives and loved ones of our heroic duo, Peter Parker and Miles Morales.

Spider-Man 2 ‘cube and floating head’ visual glitches

While the game has been lauded for its overall quality and exciting gameplay, a peculiar set of visual glitches has surfaced. The CubeMan glitch is an unexpected and visually striking issue that has left players both baffled and amused. It manifests when players attempt to change Spider-Man’s suit within the game. Rather than a seamless transition between different costumes, the character’s model inexplicably transforms into a cubic figure. This glitch is as bizarre as it is comical, turning the web-swinging hero into a rigid and geometric cube. The sight of Spider-Man donning a cubic form while navigating the streets of Marvel’s New York is undoubtedly one that few could have anticipated.

Spider-man 2 cube glitch

The CubeMan glitch has quickly gained attention within the gaming community for its sheer absurdity. Players have taken to social media, forums, and streaming platforms to share their experiences and screenshots of their cubic superhero adventures. As players swing through the city, engage in combat, or embark on missions, the humor of the situation becomes evident. While it is unquestionably a technical flaw players have embraced the CubeMan glitch as a delightful source of amusement. This demonstrates the lighthearted and forgiving nature of the gaming community.

Floating head glitch

This peculiar issue arises during significant moments in the game, such as the final fight or key cutscenes. During the floating head glitch, players encounter a scenario where a character’s head becomes entirely detached from his body, hovering ominously in the air. The rest of character’s body, however, remains completely invisible, creating a unsettling visual spectacle.

This visual anomaly disrupts the immersion and narrative flow of the game. Players are left grappling with the disconcerting nature of this glitch.

No official response

At the time of writing, the devs have not officially acknowledged these visual glitches. Some players find these bugs amusing and endearing. However, others have expressed their desire for a patch to address these issues.

We hope that these glitches are resolved quickly.
