Sony is the first OEM to release Android 11 for all eligible devices from its portfolio. Although, the update is yet to hit devices in some regions.

Android 11 brings with it a bunch of new features and improvements to enhance the user experience including an updated Game enhancer app that was initially launched in 2019 by Sony.

Matter of fact, the new Game Enhancer app was the first thing the company showed off in its official blog post that talked about the new things that the company added with Android 11.

Unfortunately, it seems users were facing several issues with the Game Enhancer app after installing the Android 11 update on their Sony Xperia phones.

The company confirmed the problems through an official support article wherein it has listed the issues that users may face after installing the new Android OS on their devices.

Check out the list of issues below:

– STAMINA mode cannot be set.
– Display High refresh rate cannot be set.
– Unable to charge.
– Cannot receive the notification.
– Background apps are closed.

– The navigation bar remains locked.
– Adaptive brightness remains disabled.
– Side sense remains disabled.
– The camera key remains disabled, and the camera cannot be switched on.

As made clear by the list of issues, Sony has got a lot to fix. Moreover, there does not appear to be any immediate workarounds to fix the problems.

Sony suggests users reboot their phones to fix the problems in case they’re on the latest software. If not, the company has asked users to wait for the update that will fix the issues.

If your Xperia phone is already the latest software version, please restart your Xperia phone as follows for a while until the fixed software is released.

That said, we’ll post an update if and when there are any further details regarding the issues with the Game Enhancer app after installing the Android 11 update.
