Sonos is a well-known brand known for its high-quality soundbars, smart speakers, and much more. However, Sonos hardware and apps, like any other product, have their fair share of bugs and issues as well.

Sonos audio sliders behaving erratically on iOS app even after v15.3 update

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple Sonos iOS app users are experiencing an issue where audio sliders or controls keep changing automatically.

The Sonos app allows users to adjust audio settings like bass, treble, balance, or loudness with just a few taps on their mobiles. Along with this, one can also use their phone’s buttons to adjust their speaker’s output.

However, for some, the bass and treble levels change simultaneously while for others the loudness setting keeps changing. Also, it has been alleged that tinkering with the music level slider affects their television settings as well.

This ends up affecting the quality of audio output, time and again. Notably, the issue has been persistent since the v15.2 app update and remains unresolved until now.

And as a result, music lovers are unhappy and have taken to social media to complain about the same.

It is also worth mentioning that Sonos had previously acknowledged this issue and stated that they were working on fixing the problem. But unfortunately, the issue still persists.

In this regard, a user contacted the company’s support team and they found out that their Sky Q box caused their devices to act in this way. So, we advise those affected to contact Sonos support as soon as possible.

That said, we are hopeful that Sonos will soon resolve the issue where audio sliders behave erratically on iOS. In the meantime, we’ll keep tabs on this topic and update this article with the latest information.
