[Update: Jan. 01] Warzone Rebirth Resurgence Quads & Trios mode should get permanent, players have mixed feelings for Duos

Ever since the addition of Call of Duty: Warzone last year, Raven Software has added and removed several game modes.

While this does help them spice things up a bit, players do prefer some maps over others such as Rebirth Island. First introduced in COD Black Ops, it takes inspiration from a real-world location located in the former Soviet Union.

Having said that, Raven Software recently removed Rebirth Resurgence Trios from Warzone and instead added the Rebirth Resurgence Quads to Vanguard.

But many Warzone players were angry with the decision and are now desperately awaiting the addition of Rebirth Resurgence Quads to the game, which should ideally happen today if everything goes right.

However, the map has had some issues of its own, with players reporting that the Buy Station was freezing the game during loadout in Rebirth Island.

And now, many Warzone players are asking Raven Software to make Rebirth Resurgence a permanent game mode.

Honestly, it’s a logical demand considering the fact that the player base sees a sizable increase whenever it is added to the playlist.

Some say they are tired of the developers forcing new things on them instead of letting them play what they want. It is interesting to note that not all Rebirth Resurgence modes are popular.

Players say they like playing Rebirth Resurgence Quads and Trios, but when it comes to Duos, the majority of these players have a mixed bag of feelings.

They say that Duo Rebirth is one of the worst game modes ever while others say it’s okay at best.

Many are now asking for Rebirth Resurgence to be added to the list of permanent game modes and give players the option to play whatever they want, be it duos, trios, or quads.

Resurgence Quads should be a permanent mode. I hate BR, and only play Resurgence. Everyone I play with feels the same way. It’s a great mix of BR and TDM/SqDM. Taking quads out really ruins the team dynamic. So now my team isn’t really playing because we gotta leave one out.
Man, the constant playlist change is annoying. Some modes should be permanent while a list of changing maps happens for those who want the change up. I just want to play my little hour or so a day with my guys… Guess not right now…

I like quads and trios on Rebirth Island. It’s so chaotic, especially in the start of the game. Which makes me feel so good if we eventually manage to clear out and hold a position, for example Control Center or Bioweapon and move on from there.I played some duos with a random a few days ago, and it just was so much more… quiet. It was still fun tho and we won the first match right away, but I missed the chaos from quads / trios with action packed shooting for almost the whole game. Just give us a permanent Rebirth quads and/or trios playlist, please.

The developers might argue that giving users the option to play whatever they might result in increased matchmaking times, but making Rebirth Resurgence permanent will also increase the player base.

02:08 pm (IST): Some gamers are now reporting that the Rebirth Island in COD: Warzone is back again, so players can now enjoy this part of the game. However, official confirmation on this matter is yet to come.
