As per recent development, two older Samsung devices, i.e. the Galaxy Tab 4 and Galaxy A3 (2017) are getting the Android 10 support, all thanks to unofficial LineageOS 17.1 and LineageOS 17, respectively.

To recall, the Galaxy Tab 4 was launched back in 2014 and it came with Android 4.4.2 (Kitkat) out of the box. Whereas, the Galaxy A3 (2017) was launched back in 2017 and it was last upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo.

So, for these devices, the Android 10 update was surely not on the cards for either of the devices. But, you can experience Android 10 on Galaxy Tab 4 and Galaxy A3 (2017) via the LineageOS.

For naive, LineageOS is arguably the most popular custom ROMs known to any Android user who is a fan of tinkering and modding. Moreover, users can install LineageOS without any need to have any Google application installed.

Let us take a look at the complete guide for both the devices, one by one:

Galaxy Tab 4

As per XDA Senior Member, DJABHipHop the unofficial LineageOS 17.1 Lightning Fast ROM supports both the Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1-inch) as well as the Galaxy Tab 4 (8-inch) tablets.
