New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on August 4, 2022) follows:

Samsung Email app enables users to manage multiple personal and business Email accounts seamlessly. It is a dedicated app similar to Gmail in functionality but for Samsung devices.

Recently, though, many Samsung users are reporting that the Email app isn’t showing images on all emails (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) and the option to do so is also missing.

As it turns out, it is an intentional change in a recent update to the Email app where Samsung removed the option to show images on individual emails.

For some reason, Samsung’s email app got rid of the “Show Images” option within individual emails, so your only option is to show all images or none. Any suggestions on another email app?

In order to view images, users have to toggle on a universal setting that will show images in every email by default, but some consider this a security risk.

This decision to remove the option to show images has disappointed many users. There is a reason other email apps introduced this option as it helps users avoid downloading unnecessary images.

Potential workaround

Luckily, there is a workaround that Samsung support has suggested that will help you display images in all emails you receive. So check it out below.
