The year 2019, has been quite a phenomenal run for the Korean smartphone giant, Samsung. It will be better to say for the Samsung users because they were served with timely security and firmware updates.

This is not something Samsung was known for, back some years ago. But, they certainly have brought in a refreshing change in this department.

And if you are the owner of Samsung Galaxy A20s, A50s or the A70 then, you are in for a treat, as the OEM has pushed in the January 2020 patchset, yet again racing ahead of other OEMs.

A couple of days back, we have reported that Samsung has pushed in the January 2020 patchset for a set of Galaxy A-series devices. And it seems like it has also been extended for a new set of Galaxy A-series phones.

Notably, the updates are not purely incremental in nature and also packs in new bootloader upgrades as well. Keep in mind that, with new bootloaders, one can’t go back to older builds via simple software-based flashing.

Let us take a look at the updates one by one.
