Rumble is one of the fastest-growing video streaming platforms at the moment. It currently acts as a YouTube alternative for creators who were either banned or just can’t stand the advertiser-friendly nature of the platform.

You can watch Rumble content through its official website or dedicated applications on various streaming devices like Apple TV, Android TV, mobile, and more. However, a recent update has broken the app for Apple TV users.

Rumble app crashing on Apple TV

According to reports (1,2,3,4), the Rumble app keeps crashing on Apple TV after the latest update. While the app opens normally, trying to access certain elements of the UI causes it to start crashing repeatedly.

It seems that the home page loads completely fine. But whenever users try selecting other menu items like the search bar or subscriptions list, the application shuts down immediately.

Due to this issue, Apple TV users can only access videos shown on the home page. This is preventing them from searching for new content or finding videos posted by the subscribed content creators.

Rumble on Apple TV it crashes now soon as you go to your search box Or subscription list crashes immediately can’t keep it open , this needs to be fixed asap that’s version 1.3.13

I can’t watch anything on Rumble because your Apple TV app closes every time I try selecting a menu item.

Some users have tried common troubleshooting steps like restarting the TV and uninstalling and reinstalling the app but nothing seems to help.

According to a user, the search bar is accessible at first but clicking on ‘Search’ or scrolling down in the menu causes the app to crash.

Same problem as others, can only select home and search and then it will close when trying to search for anything or when trying to select anything below home in menu.

It’s worth noting that Rumble’s prime competitor, YouTube, has also been experiencing crashing-related problems on Apple TV. Seems like Apple TV owners are going through a rough patch in terms of content consumption.

Making matters worse, some are unable to even log into the platform as clicking the option also leads to the same result. The ‘sign out’ button is similarly affected.

Unfortunately, the Rumble team has not yet acknowledged the crashing issues after the latest update. There are no workarounds to mitigate the issue either.

For the time being, you can try using the platform on other devices like PC through a web browser or on mobile.

Affected users might have to wait indefinitely for the developers to detect and resolve the problem. We’ll keep an eye on this matter and update this story to reflect noteworthy development.
