Remnant 2 'Final Boss' bugged (getting stuck, not spawning or crashing) for some

The sequel to the critically acclaimed Remnant: From the Ashes, Remnant 2 is quite an exciting action game with a unique blend of combat, exploration, and storytelling.

The latest addition to the franchise allows you to explore large and challenging worlds, each with its own unique set of enemies and challenges.

Remnant 2, for sure, tests players’ skills and patience. However, some are unhappy as they are witnessing some problems.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8), some Remnant 2 players who have made it to the final boss are facing issues with the game.

They claim that they are sent back to the main menu after defeating the final boss, watching the game credits and playing the after-credits sequence.

And surprisingly, they are moved back to the last quest whenever they try to reload the game. Even though the boss is already dead, one still has the loot obtained from it.

I was fighting the boss of the game and finally beat him. As soon as I beat him it popped up giving me items but then a notification popped up saying “network connection lost” and sent me back to the main menu.

This has even made gamers confused about whether this is a bug in the game’s ending or an intentional behavior.

There’s literally nothing to do after the campaign, just reroll it or go into adventure mode to get more items and new locations.

However, a player asserts this to be the intended game functionality. They also suggest that one should try rerolling the story or playing the game in adventure mode for a new story line variation.

In addition to this, multiple gamers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) are witnessing a problem that hampers their progress and quest completion.

After successfully defeating the first phase of the last boss, the game’s soundtrack stops, and the boss model gets stuck in its second form, and keeps floating without any movement.

Players claim that despite getting the achievement on killing the final boss, the quest fails to progress and the boss doesn’t respawn.

This leaves them stuck in that particular situation, and they are unable to continue with the fight or finish the game.

Some gamers are also suspecting the use of the ‘plasma cutter’ weapon during the boss fight to be somehow linked to the occurrence of this bug.

Damn same situation here, frozen second form and then bugged instance, except no back up save for me. This happened mid update, took a break while attempting and after I came back game updated and this bug occurred.

Same thing just happened to me, killed the final boss in his second form and got the achievement but nothing happened.

A few players (1,2,3) have experienced crashing issues during the final fight and on the character selection screen as well. Notably, they get a ‘LowLevelFatalError’ message upon crash.

And sadly, they could not get rid of this problem by updating their graphics drivers or restarting the game.
