Well, as of now, there is no concrete information on when the Android 10 update for the Redmi Note 7 will be pushed by Xiaomi and the users are still confused, whether the OEM will bring MIUI 12 UI with Android 10 or not?

A lot has been said by Xiaomi moderators in the recent past regarding the Android 10 update for the Redmi Note 7, but there is no ETA. And recently the device picked up the May security update based on Android 9 Pie, hinting that the Android 10 update is put in the back burner, at least for now.

While users gawk for the official Android 10 update to arrive for their Redmi Note 7, there is some good news for custom ROM users. One of the popular custom ROMs, LineageOS, will soon be available as Android 10-based LineageOS 17.1 for the phone.

This information was shared by a Redditor. As per the post, the Redmi Note 7 has been put up in the WiKi page of LineageOS 17.1 hinting that in a couple of days or so, the official build will go live.
