The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro which is also known as the Mi Note 10 or Mi Note 10 Pro globally made headlines when it launched back in November 2019. This is because it was the first commercially available device to come with a 108MP camera sensor.

At the time of launching, the device still ran on Android 9 Pie, despite Android 10 having been out a few months before that. Well, that might be changing soon.

According to recent reports on the web, some users are receiving Android 10 updates, albeit in Beta. As expected, since this is a Beta update, the rollout is pretty limited at the moment.

Also, we would not recommend installing this on your Mi CC9 Pro as these Beta firmware are known to have a lot of aspects under active development and so it might not work properly.

The Beta build that has been spotted is based on MIUI 11 as expected. The update carries the January security patch level and according to reports, it is currently only available to the Chinese variant of the Mi CC9 Pro.

We shall keep an eye out on this device and update you when we have a stable roll out and also when the update is available for other variants of the device.

Another device that is getting updated to Android 10 is the Sharp AQUOS R3. Launched back in November 2019, the Sharp Aquos R3 boasts a 6.2-inch Pro IGZO panel that has 3120 x 1440-pixel resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

It also comes with HDR10 support and has two notches – one at the top which houses the 16.3MP selfie camera, and the other at the bottom which surrounds the fingerprint scanner housed in the home button.
