Realme is a subsidiary of BBK Electronics, the same company which is also parent to Oneplus, Vivo, and Oppo – brands which are doing well in the smartphone market individually.

All the sibling companies bundle their in-house user-interface in their smartphones. But, talking about the youngest in the family, Realme, the company features ColorOS, the same UI that is being used by Oppo. And this makes sense too, as both are sister companies.

But, Realme, as you may know is working to develop RealmeOS for its devices. So, ColorOS on Realme phones will soon get a replacement.

RealmeOS could replace ColorOS in future Realme phones

Realme was launched back on 4 May 2018, and as of now, the company has managed to sell more than 10 million smartphones worldwide. And talking specifically about the Indian market, Realme sales skyrocketed to 600% in 2019’s Q2 as compared to 2018’s, making it the fifth most popular brand in the region.

Other than great product and marketing, the factor that made it possible for Realme to climb up, is the relationship with its community. Realme, like Xiaomi (the current top smartphone maker in India), got massive success in fabricating a trustworthy relationship with its community.

Well, the company does this by organizing community meet-ups, competitions (like the currently ongoing #Real5quard for winning away Realme 5 Pro and other goodies), giveaways, and a lot more.

An now, the OEM has come up with a ColorOS survey asking for the feedback of its customers. It’s not the first time that the company is hosting a survey. But this one focuses entirely on ColorOS and aims to know how customers would like Realme to improve it.

This gets us thinking, is the company actually aiming at improving ColorOS or preparing for the upcoming RealmeOS? Well, who can say. Anyway, the new survey, like always, has been introduced to the Realme community, where one needs to answer some simple questions.

The OEM has listed questions related to UI and UX, like the settings menu, navigation gestures, status bar, and more. Here’s what all they need to know:

-On a scale from 1 to 10, how do you find the quality of video calls?

-How often do you make video calls?

-On a scale from 1 to 10, how do you find the settings menu?

-On a scale from 1 to 10, how do you find the current status bar?

-Which type of launcher background would you like the most?

-On a scale from 1 to 10, how do you find the current battery stats?

-On a scale from 1 to 10, how do you find the current gesture navigations?

In case you also wish to let Realme know what features or improvements you want in ColorOS, be part of the survey. To participate in the survey, visit the Realme community thread, and follow the listed instructions. Otherwise, you can also comment down your suggestions on the survey thread.
