Realme has been quite pre-occupied with Realme UI development since the turn of the year. The software, the first of its kind from the company and based on Android 10 OS, first arrived on the Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT in January 2020.

To date, at least eight Realme handsets have received the stable Realme UI via software updates. The latest to join the party, the Realme 3 and Realme 3i, got updated late last month.

Next in line are the Realme 5, Realme 5i, and Realme 5s, all of which should get the beta version in the coming days before the stable rollout towards the end of the month.

Tech has been my playground for over a decade. While the Android journey began early, it truly took flight with the revolutionary Lollipop update. Since then, it's been a parade of Android devices (with a sprinkle of iOS), culminating in a mostly happy marriage with Google's smart home ecosystem. Expect insightful articles and explorations of the ever-evolving world of Android and Google products coupled with occasional rants on the Nest smart home ecosystem.
