Razer, a renowned brand in the gaming industry, is known for its high-performance gaming laptops and peripherals.

One of their popular laptop models is the Razer Blade 16 that offers insane performance and ultra-portability, featuring more graphics power per inch than any other 16-inch gaming laptop on the market.

It also boasts the world’s first dual-mode mini-LED display, which can switch between UHD+ 120 Hz and FHD+ 240 Hz native resolutions.

Razer Blade 16 firmware update v1.1.1.3 not executing

Like any other electronic device, firmware updates are crucial to maintain the optimal performance and security of the system.

However, recent reports have indicated an issue with the firmware update for the Razer Blade 16, specifically the v1.1.1.3_SO690_EC_0109 update.

Users who attempted to run the firmware updater encountered multiple issues. The first obstacle that users faced was a Windows SmartScreen warning stating that the executable file was not signed.

This warning serves as a security measure designed to protect users from potentially harmful or malicious files. However, in this case, it seems to be a false positive.

Despite the SmartScreen warning, some users decided to proceed with the update by bypassing the warning. Unfortunately, they were then met with another error message, stating that the ‘installer integrity check failed’.

This error implies that the update file itself is corrupted or incomplete, preventing it from executing properly on the Razer Blade 16 laptops.

Yeah – I have the same problem. I was hoping it would resolve this monitor issue where it would come out of sleep mode and the screen would get the old school TV static look whiteout and I would have to put it back to sleep and wake it up again to get it back to normal – last thing is the firmware! hope it works!

Issue escalated
