In the Call of Duty universe, Warzone is the first battle royale. Developed by Raven Software, the game allows up to 150 players to battle against each other.

Similar to Apex Legends, the gameplay is intense and fast-paced with endless action. This has largely contributed to its success.

Launched in March of 2020, COD: Warzone recently started Season 5. Besides the gameplay, it is famous for the numerous bugs and issues that seem to be never-ending.

The game has so many bugs we have created a tracker that you can check out here. Having said that, another bug has surfaced online that is preventing players from enjoying the game.

According to reports, players are experiencing a ‘Fatal Error’ that causes COD: Warzone to crash every few minutes.

The cause and frequency of the bug seem to be completely random at the moment. Warzone players suggest that the ‘Fatal Error’ crash started after the recent Season 5 update.

Fatal Error code: 0x0000000141b40cf0 8077539 0xc0000005 nvwgf2umx.dll I get this error message and get random, but constant freezes – is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Since the update, my game has been freezing and I’m presented with a dialogue box saying ” 0x00000001419101f1 9926301 0x c0000005 error, followed by an option to close the box (and thus the game). Ironically, the game runs fine behind the box (after a 3-4 second freeze). Is there anyone else having this issue? Can’t seem to find much about it.

Raven Software has acknowledged the issue, but there is no ETA in sight. Barely a day passes by without players reporting a bug or glitch that affects their gameplay.

Activision seems to be in deep trouble with a lawsuit on one hand and new issues popping up in COD: Warzone every day.

Players are really frustrated with many popular Twitch streamers saying they have had enough.

We wonder how long players will hold onto the buggy mess called Warzone before moving on to something else.
