New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on June 21, 2022) follows:

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, Rainbow Six Siege is one of the longest-running esports titles of all time. Launched in December of 2015, the game is going strong seven years after its release.

Powered by AnvilNext 2.0, the game uses Ubisoft’s RealBlast technology to simulate destructible environments.

However, since the start of Year 7, players have complained about issues such as getting stuck on the camera feed and the game connecting Oceania players to Asia server.

Adding to the long list of problems, Rainbow Six Siege players are now reporting a matchmaking error that says ‘You are unable to join the match at this time because you abandoned a previous match. error code: [2-0x0000D00C]’ (1,2,3,4,5).

Many are unable to play the game because of the problem. Players are frustrated and wondering why they are getting the error message in the first place.

Some have tried restarting the game, verifying game files on Steam, and even reinstalling the game but the problem persists. Below are some reports from Rainbow Six Siege players affected by the matchmaking error 2-0x0000D00C.
