Ubisoft’s response regarding the Rainbow Six Siege ‘instant reload’ glitch

Reloading a weapon in online matches renders the players vulnerable for a few seconds.

Experienced players intricately balance their offense with reload breaks to optimize their performance.

But with such an exploitative glitch at play, the game’s balance is getting hampered.

Acknowledging the severity of the situation, Ubisoft made a couple of official statements, saying:

The Siege team are aware of this issue and are working towards resolving it. (Source)

It’s being investigated right now. We apologise for the inconvenience. (Source)

The acknowledgment provides a glimpse of hope to the effected players. But there’s no ETA for when the fix would actually arrive.

In the meantime, We’ll keep track of the situation and post an update if and when there are any further developments on the matter.
