PUBG Mobile is one of the few games that popularized the Battle Royale niche. It is one of the highest-grossing mobile games of all time, generating more than $7 billion in lifetime revenue.

Released in March of 2017, the title is often used for benchmarking mobile GPU performance. Unsurprisingly, the developers often update the game with new content such as skins and maps.

That said, PUBG Mobile players have been complaining about the parachute landing glitch in the last few months.

Many say the bug causes them to land in the wrong location, with some reporting that they land hundreds of meters away from where they were supposed to land.

As it turns out, PUBG Mobile developers released an update on March 25 that slightly reduced the parachute distance.

But according to recent reports (1,2,3,4,5), it looks like the parachute landing glitch is still affecting PUBG Mobile players.

I might be silly for thinking this, but i feel there is a atmosphere coming to the game soon.. wind.. shots needing to be lead etc…. because you can parachute at 600m each time and its always different.. also why is it when you land at time ur blown away..

Definitely not only you. Landing desync has been the biggest glitch in the game for me this season and has ruined many of my games. Same as you, I land and then suddenly am several meters from where I’ve landed. Sometimes it takes up to 10 seconds to sync and by that time I’m royally fucked. I’ve noticed (for me at least) it is especially bad in the mirror world theme. Ridiculous that they have made no attempts to fix it as it greatly effects the outcome and playability of the game.

The problem seems to be angering many, especially those who play the game competitively.

Unfortunately, PUBG Mobile developers are yet to comment on the matter. We hope they take a look at the problem and fix it as soon as possible since it is ruining the gameplay experience for those affected.

Rest assured, we will be keeping tabs on the matter and update this article when we come across more information or the developers fix the issue so make sure you keep checking this space.
