Procreate is easily one of the best raster graphics editor apps available for iPadOS and is one of the main reasons some digital artists pick the iPad over any other tablet on the market.

The app offers a bunch of different features, brushes, effects, and more to create sketches, rich paintings, gorgeous illustrations, and beautiful animations.

Further, the developers regularly update the app adding new features and squashing existing bugs and issues to keep things working smoothly.

We recently reported the issue with exporting CMYK content as Photoshop files in the Procreate app that the team had acknowledged.

Now, an iPad user has highlighted yet another bug in Procreate that makes the app unresponsive to some commands, like resizing a selected area or selecting the distort function.

Hey @Procreate,so I recently upgraded to a new iPad and Apple Pencil, but I am encountering problems where Procreate becomes unresponsive to some commands, like resizing a selected area or selecting the distort function.

Is this a software issue or could it be hardware related? (Source)

The user even shared a video of the issue that you can check out below:

As shown clearly in the video, the app refuses to respond to certain commands but keeps functioning normally to other commands.

The Procreate team on Twitter was quick to respond to the user’s tweet by acknowledging that they are aware of the bug with the Transform tool and has confirmed that they’re working on a fix for it.

In case you’ve also noticed that Procreate on iPad becomes unresponsive to certain commands, then the team suggests force-quitting the app and relaunching it as a temporary workaround.

While there’s no ETA for the fix, you can expect it to be resolved sooner rather than later.

As usual, we’ll keep tabs on the situation and will post an update if and when there are any further developments.
