[Updated] PrizePicks down, not working, or crashing? You're not alone

PrizePicks is a popular ‘Daily Fantasy Sports’ service that allows users to participate in multi-sport fantasy leagues.

Unlike other Fantasy services, PrizePicks allows you to wager real money. So, it is quite important that its servers are running correctly so that everyone can set their teams at any time.

Unfortunately, currently the PrizePicks servers are in the middle of an outage, so the service is down or not working for many, also causing a crash in the app.

According to multiple reports, the Fantasy Sports platform is currently inaccessible to its users. This makes them unable to login to their accounts to tweak their lineups before key games, check balance, etc.

I’m gonna be pretty upset if I hit on the players I picked and then all of a sudden @PrizePicks goes down 🤦‍♂️

In addition to being unable to access their PrizePicks accounts, users are reporting a crashing issue in the app as well.

Considering that the platform allows real money betting, an outage is especially serious as it can mean losing the entire balance of users who were unable to tweak their teams before a match.

Also, the outage started on the same day that the company was giving ‘free squares’, which allow for additional entries, but no one has been able to take advantage of them.

There is still no official acknowledgment of the issue from the PrizePicks team. We will update this story as events unfold.

10:55 am (IST): According to the PrizePicks team, the outage has been resolved. Also, they are giving out an additional ‘Free Square’ for additional free entries as compensation.

However, some are still unable to log in to their accounts (1, 2).

09:44 am (IST): Some users are once again experiencing issues with the app as reports (1,2,3,4) indicate it’s down or crashing for them.

11:50 am (IST): The lack of fresh reports indicates that the issue has been resolved.

11:33 am (IST): It seems that the service was unavailable for a while (1,2,3), however it is now operational again.

04:46 pm (IST): PrizePicks app is currently down or not working for multiple users (1, 2, 3).

09:05 am (IST): PrizePicks platform server issues have been fixed.

12:34 pm (IST): PrizePicks users report a new outage on the platform (1, 2, 3, 4).

03:44 pm (IST): Lack of reports suggest that the recent outage has been resolved.
