Pokemon Sword & Shield : Evolve Eevee into Umbreon, Espeon and Sylveon

The game has also added many Galarian forms to the game. Also, to celebrate the launch of the Pokemon Sword & Shield game, Galarian Weezing was added to the Pokemon Go game, and it appeared as Tier 4 Raid boss. Apart from that, new Pokemon Sword & Shield based avatar items have also been added to the Pokemon Go game.

In our last post of Pokemon Sword & Shield, we have discussed how we can evolve Applin in the game, but in this post, we will talk about Eevee evolutions. Many Pokemon Sword & Shield players do not know how to evolve Eevee into Umbreon, Espeon and Sylveon. Well, it is difficult to evolve Eevee to any of these forms if you don’t know the trick.

Speaking of Eevee, it is a normal type Pokemon but has different evolution types including Vaporeon, Flareon, Umbreon, Espeon, Sylveon, Glaceon, Jolteon & Leafeon. However, in this article, we will only discuss the following three evolutions of Eevee: Umbreon, Espeon, and Sylveon.

To evolve Eevee into Umbreon in Pokemon Sword & Shield game, firstly, you need to have an Eevee. Players can get Eevee by going to Route 4 and searching for Eevee in wheat fields. After searching for a while, you will likely catch an Eevee for yourself. After catching it, you are required to level up friendship level.

Players can increase the friendship level in the following ways: By playing with Eevee in Pokémon Camp, By feeding it Curries. Players can check the level at any point by visiting the boy in the house located right of the Pokemon Center. However, it should be the night time, if you wish to evolve Eevee into Umbreon.

Also, you need to level up your Eevee, which can be done by the following ways: XP candy from Raids, with Rare Candy, and by battling & catching Pokemon. You can change the time to night, by heading into the Nintendo Switch menu and changing your system time before going into the wild area if you are playing in day time.

Players can evolve Eevee into Espeon with the same process as mentioned above for Umbreon. However, instead of the night time, it should be day time. Players can increase the friendship level quickly if the Pokemon holds Soothe bell.

Players need to increase the friendship level if they want to evolve Eevee into Sylveon, but apart from that Eevee needs to learn a Fairy-type move before getting evolved into Sylveon. You can also check the videos for further reference.
