Pokemon Sword and Shield will be released on November 15, 2019. Gamefreak is the developer of the game. The game is only coming to the Nintendo Switch platform. The first details of the game were revealed during the E3 2019.

Developers have introduced a few new Pokemon in the game, including Gossifleur, Wooloo, Corviknight, Drednaw, Zacian, and Zamazenta. Pokemon Sword and Shield also feature Galarian forms of some Pokemon from previous regions.

Earlier data miners revealed details about Galarian form of Farfetch’d, which has now come to be true. Last week, developers of the game announced Sirfetch’d which is a Galarian form of Farfetch’d. Now, a data miner has revealed other interesting details about Pokemon’s evolution. But this news is coming from the official Pokemon Japanese website.

The website allows users to upload any image, and then it adds a random Dynamaxed Pokemon to that image. A data miner named ‘abcboy101’ has studied this website code and has revealed the evolution lines of a few Pokemon.

While he tried to decipher the code, he found that each Pokemon has a specific codename, where the number at the end represents its evolutionary state and text before the number represents its evolution name. Have a look at Pokemon evolution lines below.

Galarian forms of a few Pokemon were introduced in the game’s trailer released on July 8, 2019. The following Pokemon received the Galarian forms: Weezing, Zigzagoon, Linoone, Obstagoon. The trailer also introduced an evil team called ‘Yell’ who will interfere with players’ journeys in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

One interesting Pokemon, Morpeko, was also introduced in the trailer earlier.’Morpeko‘ is a form changing Pokemon, which has two forms – Full Belly Mode and Hangry Mode. In full belly mode, it can launch an electric aura wheel attack while in Hangry Mode it launches a dark aura wheel attack.

Pokemon Go Sword and Shield also introduced Gigantamax forms for several Pokemon including Corviknight, Drednaw, and Alcremie. But ‘Gigantamax’ forms only occur if Pokemon has activated its Dynamax form and is fighting in Max Raid Battles.
