Niantic has announced another interesting event for the game. The upcoming event is called the Buddy Up event. It has been scheduled to take place from April 21, 2020, at 8 am to April 27, 2020, at 10 am in your local time zone.
The event will celebrate the bond of trainers & Buddy Pokemon. Players will also get certain bonuses under this event. There will be a decreased walking distance for earning Buddy Candy and hearts. Cut to now, Pokemon Go has received another update today & the new patch is coming along with version 0.173.0. It has brought a myriad of new features to the game, along with some enhancements & bug fixes.
With the update 0.173.0, players can mass transfer costume Pokemon. Players are really excited to know about this new feature. Apart from this, the update has also brought back keyboard edits. Have a look at the images below, which confirms the same.
Pokemon Go update 0.173.0 also shows the opponent’s type in the top right section of battles, allowing you to see what type they are before the switch animation ends. Also, now hatching an egg will prompt you to the egg menu.
