[Crashing on Samsung Galaxy S10] Pokemon Go update 0.163.3 is live but AR Mode still not working for many users

Niantic rolled out two new features this month for Pokemon Go. The newly introduced Buddy Adventure feature allows Buddy Pokemon to follow the trainer on the Overworld map. Players can also play & feed Buddy Pokemon with this newly introduced feature. However, it requires the use of AR+ to enjoy the full potential of the Buddy Adventure feature.

Well, a new update for Pokemon Go is currently rolling out with version number 0.163.3, which is expected to fix AR+ issues. But according to a few reports on the Pokemon Go forum, TheSilphRoad, the latest update to the game has brought up a new bug in which players are finding it difficult to nickname Pokemon. Apart from this, it is unknown whether the latest update has fixed the ongoing AR+ issues or not. But one Pokemon Go player with S10+ has confirmed on Reddit that the game is still crashing for him after updating the game to version number 0.163.3

Speaking of AR Mode issues, it is troubling players from the last few days with the release of the Buddy Adventure feature. Niantic stated in their official post that they are currently working to resolve the issue, but it seems like the update 0.163.3 has still not fixed the issue.

Apart from this, the warm Winter Weekend event has gone live in the game. Pokemon Go warm winter weekend event went live on December 28, 2019, at 11 am. The event also features a variety of bonuses for players which include the following:

Two-hour Glacial Lure Module duration: Glacial Lure Modules will last two hours for the duration of the event. Pokémon such as Lapras, Delibird, Cubchoo, and more will be drawn to Glacial Lure Modules during this time!

Glaceon with Last Resort: Use a Glacial Lure Module to evolve Eevee during the event, and you’ll get a Glaceon that knows the Charged Attack Last Resort.

Two additional Raid Passes: Receive up to two additional Raid Passes during the special event time period when you spin a Photo Disc at a Gym. These Raid Passes will not be available after the event period is over. You cannot hold more than one Raid Pass at once.

One concerned player, Duce, who is currently facing an issue with Adventure Sync & AR+ mode tired to reach Niantic support on Twitter.
