Pokemon Go, developed by Niantic in 2016, is still one of the most popular mobile games. The game has a huge community base all around the world. The game’s popularity took some fall at the end of 2017, but it again retrieved its positive growth curve in 2018.

Pokemon Go currently features more than 485+ Pokemon, but still, more than 300 Pokemon are yet to make their entry in the Pokemon Go game. Niantic took almost 3+ years to add 485+ Pokemon to the game, so at this rate of addition, it would take at least another two years to add all the Pokemon to the game.

Pokemon Go players are required to walk around to complete in-game tasks, interact with Pokestops, battle in gyms, and hatch an egg. It gets even more challenging to perform these tasks if you are not living in a city or urban area because the number of gyms or Pokestops are usually scarce in suburban or rural areas.

So it becomes very hard for players to travel long distances to know which team has captured a certain gym or which Pokemon are placed by a team to defend the Gym. In that scenario, Pokemon Go Gym maps come in handy. Pokemon Go Gym maps use Pokemon Go API to retrieve information regarding gym locations, Gym boss raid level, and many other details.

During the early days of the game, there were also maps which were able to track any Pokemon location, but Niantic quickly banned those maps. Speaking of Gym maps, it seems like Niantic has overlooked this thing because it may not be affecting the game’s growth.

Now let us have a look at the best Pokemon Go Gym maps which are helpful in retrieving information about Gyms.

Pokemon Go Gym Map : Raid Battles, Gyms, Tracker & Pokestops

GymHuntr – GymHuntr is one of the best Pokemon Go Gym maps. It allows you to track all the information about any particular gym. It tells you about Gym bosses raid level, base CP, and moveset, which allows you to prepare an effective strategy to take down gym bosses. In addition, it also shows nearby raids.
