The Poco F3/Xiaomi Mi 11X is a pretty compelling value-for-money buy targeted at those that desire a device that screams all things flagship but without the flagship price tag.

And with its Snapdragon 870 processor, AMOLED 120Hz HDR10+ display, and an extremely premium build, the device sure does manage to be quite an eye-candy to its target audience.

However, the champ isn’t exactly free from its set of bugs and issues.

Ever since launch, Poco F3 users have complained about a range of bothersome problems including battery drain and random reboots, delayed touch response, proximity sensor woes, display green tint, and a blinking home screen.

While some of the aforementioned have indeed been acknowledged, the list of issues refuses to end right there. As it stands, a couple of new issues have popped up following the MIUI 12.5 update.

Firstly, there is the infamous notifications delay issue on the Poco F3. Users say that the phone either has trouble showing notifications from apps like WhatsApp and Facebook or does not show them at all, at least until the screen is awoken or the app is opened.

Now, Xiaomi has had an interesting history with this one with previous iterations of MIUI where aggressive RAM management led to the frequent killing of some essential app processes which in turn resulted in delayed notifications.

However, as in the case of the Poco F3, whose entry variant comes with a hefty 6 gigs of RAM, insufficient RAM cannot be the one to blame.

Still, whatever the cause, a community moderator has acknowledged the issue saying that is ‘known’ and that they’ll be checking its status with the concerned team.

If all goes well, we should be seeing a bug fixing update for the notifications delay issues on the Poco F3 roll out soon.

Similarly, another issue where the call UI fails to show up with incoming calls has now been acknowledged as well. In this one, users are unable to answer calls due to a missing answer call button.

Hey, Checked with other POCO F3 users, they are too facing but it’s a random thing. Report it with all necessary details whenever this issue occurs.

While the mod indeed has confirmed that the bug is being faced by several Poco F3 users, they haven’t really escalated it to the concerned team.

Thus you might want to report it through the Feedback app yourself to make Xiaomi or Poco aware of its existence.
