Currently, the spotlight is on the Google Pixel 8, that can be availed for a jaw-dropping price of INR 4,499 ($54.20) on Flipkart in India. However, as the saying goes, ‘if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.’ In the case of the Pixel 8 on Flipkart, there’s indeed a catch that you need to be aware of.

Google-Pixel-8-Flipkart

Upon investigation, I saw that this Flipkart’s trade-in discount of INR 71,500 ($861) is applicable to the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This limitation raises questions about the practicality of trading in such a premium device to secure the Pixel 8 deal. I believe, while the Pixel 8 is undeniably available at an attractive price, the trade-in dynamics might not align with the expectations or preferences of potential buyers.

That said, Google’s Pixel 8, boasting 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, is available in four vibrant colors: Hazel, Mint, Obsidian, and Rose. Its initial price is ₹75,999 ($915). To make this flagship device more accessible, Flipkart has rolled out a series of bank offers, transforming the high-end smartphone into an affordable luxury. Here are all the offers:

  • 10% price reduction on Citi-branded Credit Card EMI Transactions, providing a substantial saving of up to INR 1,500 ($18) on orders exceeding INR 7,500 ($90).
  • OneCard Credit Card EMI Transactions on orders above INR 12,500 ($150) can secure users a flat INR 750 ($9) off.
  • DBS Bank Credit Card holders can also enjoy a 10% discount, up to INR 1,500 ($18), on orders surpassing INR 10,000 ($120).
  • No-cost EMI option allows the purchase to be split into manageable monthly payments of INR 12,667 ($152.60).
  • An additional INR 500 ($6) off on Citi-branded Credit Card EMI Transactions for products priced INR 29,990 ($361) and above.
  • Flipkart Axis Bank Card can relish a 5% cashback offer.
  • For those eyeing even more significant savings, selected banks’ credit and debit card transactions can potentially slash INR 10,000 ($120) off the Pixel 8’s original price.

As if these discounts weren’t enticing enough, Flipkart sweetens the deal further by throwing in a generous freebie, a 12-month Spotify Premium subscription.
