The Google Pixel’s annual launch often comes a few weeks before Good Friday deals start flooding in. In fact, there are already some amazing early Black Friday deals for Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro buyers to check out. But there’s even much better coming from Google itself. For those looking to score a deal on the new Pixel 8 or 8 Pro, the Google Store has an attractive offer in multiple markets across the globe that gets you 3 months of free YouTube Premium, 6 months of Fitbit Premium, and 2TB storage of Google One Premium for 6 months as well.

Pixel 8 offer is available via the Google Store

The Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are available to purchase in 20 countries across the globe. Some countries like the US and UK have multiple channels through which you can buy the phones, with the official Google Store among them. But there are different deals and offers depending on where you buy the phone. Carriers have their own offers. Big retailers like Best Buy and Amazon also have their own thing. And so does Google via the Google Store. This is where you should buy the Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro if you want to enjoy 3 months of free YouTube Premium, 6 months of Fitbit Premium and Google One Premium.

Make no mistake, though. As sweet as the deal may look, there are some conditions you must meet before Google hands you these freebies. Let’s check them out.

Who qualifies for the Google Store’s Pixel 8 offer?

There are a number of conditions you must meet in order to qualify for this offer. But first and foremost, you must have a Google Payments account with a qualifying form of payment at sign-up. As noted, only purchases made through the official Google Store are eligible for this deal. You cannot claim the offer if you bought your phone from a carrier or retailer, even if they are officially mandated to sell the devices by Google. But that’s not all, as you are about to see.

2TB storage of Google One Premium for 6 months

The Google One offer is limited to new users. You must have also purchased your Pixel 8 or 8 Pro between October 4, 2023 and January 1, 2025 to be eligible for the Google One offer. Once you redeem the offer, check your Subscriptions page in the Google Play Store for details of the end date. Any purchase outside this window will be ineligible for this offer, with expiry set for December 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

3 months of free YouTube Premium

The YouTube Premium offer is available to new users only. Furthermore, your Google account must have never been part of any past trial of YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red, or Google Play Music. Otherwise, you won’t qualify. You must also activate your Pixel 8 by December 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PT and redeem the offer by December 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

6 months of Fitbit Premium

To get 6 months of Fitbit Premium, you must be a new or returning Premium member and also provide a valid form of payment. But be warned that you’ll have to part with $9.99/month after expiration of the 6-month membership. Like others, this offer also has an expiry date of December 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PT. It’s also worth noting that you’ll potentially require a Google Pixel Watch for this to work if you don’t have one yet.

Countries eligible for Pixel 8 & 8 Pro offer

To be eligible for the 3 months of free YouTube Premium, you must be in the United States. As for Fitbit Premium, as long as you can get your hands on the Pixel 8 or 8 Pro through the Google Store in your country, you should be good to go. Even though the Google One page says the offer is available in all markets where the Pixel 8 is sold, our own findings can confirm the deal is available through the Google Store only in the following 9 countries:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Germany
  • India
  • Japan
  • Spain
  • Taiwan
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

So, if you reside in any of the above countries, head over to the Google Store page and grab this deal while it lasts. It remains unclear if the offer will at some point extend to more markets, but if and when it does, we will update this article accordingly.

Tech has been my playground for over a decade. While the Android journey began early, it truly took flight with the revolutionary Lollipop update. Since then, it's been a parade of Android devices (with a sprinkle of iOS), culminating in a mostly happy marriage with Google's smart home ecosystem.
