OxygenOS 11 has a lot of new features and improvements to offer to OnePlus devices but only the OnePlus 8 series devices have received the stable update so far.

The latest OS update from OnePlus is still under development which means more new features and improvements might be on their way.

OnePlus has been conducting an interactive program for its users which is known as Ideas 2.0 and its first round got over pretty recently.

The gist of this initiative is to get user opinions on how OxygenOS can be further improved in terms of the overall user experience.

Now, the OEM has shortlisted seven new feature ideas out of over two thousand entries and these new features might make it to OxygenOS 11 soon.

The seven most liked ideas from users include Hole punch camera notification alerts, Desktop Mode, and black Dark Mode style instead of grey or option for both.

Apart from that, Partial screenshot, OxygenOS 11 Classic layout, Camera optimization improvements by working with social media companies, and an option for FPS counter in Game space are also among the top seven ideas from OnePlus users.

The OEM will review these ideas internally and a verdict will be released for all seven feature ideas on October 23.

While OnePlus has been a bit late with its latest OS update this year, it is good to see that the OEM is striving to improve the overall experience based on user opinions.

Nevertheless, some of these features might not make it to the final OxygenOS 11 build as OnePlus will provide more details after evaluating these ideas on the specified date.

That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide updates once new information surfaces.
