OnePlus has a line-up of some of the finest Android flagship devices like the OnePlus 6, OnePlus 7, and OnePlus 8 series.

While OnePlus is known for its Android-based OxygenOS custom skin, it also offers some handy apps like the OnePlus Store app which was launched in India back in October.

The OnePlus Store app offers services like shopping, discovering OnePlus products, support, Red Cable Club Membership, and Members-only benefits (for Red Cable Club members).

Now, the OEM has announced that it will soon be launching the OnePlus Store app for the OnePlus 6 series and newer devices in India.

This means that the Indian OnePlus Nord, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 8, OnePlus 7T, and OnePlus 7 series devices will get the OnePlus Store app through upcoming OTA updates.

While the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T series devices will get the Store app with the next OTA update, remaining devices will get the same in the upcoming months.

No ETA has been provided by the OEM but the Store app will indeed be made available to all the aforementioned devices in the future.

Also, users in India will have the option to uninstall the OnePlus Store app as the OEM wants its users to tailor their experience as per their convenience.

It is good to see that OnePlus is propagating its own product platform through different devices across different regions.

Moreover, doing so will make it easier for OnePlus users to avail various services that the OEM has to offer.

It must be noted that Poco, which is a sub brand of Xiaomi, might also be looking forward to developing a similar platform for its consumers in India. More on that here.
